The great British beach hut escape

Pig on the Beach | Beach Tomato

You will be no strangers to how much we love anything beach-based… BBQ’s, beach bars, bucket and spades, you name it, we probably love it. That’s why we had to tell you about a new favourite beach escape right here in the UK.

The Pig Hotels, with their boutique portfolio, have be gaining love from visitors far and wide. Their selection of beautiful and quintessentially British boltholes are scattered across the south of England in utterly charming locations. Our fave? Pig on the Beach, naturally. It is set over-looking the gorgeous Studland Bay and fresh, costal walks are a prerogative. What can be better than taking in great lungfuls of detoxifying  sea air before you indulge in a spa treatment at the ‘sheep hut’, tuck in to gourmet grub and cosy up in the luxurious shabby chic rooms?

But the best bit? From now until September the Pig on the Beach also offer you the chance to have your very own beach hut… for the duration of your stay, anyway. We don’t know about you, but for us the vision of a traditional British seaside escape isn’t complete without a little striped beach hut nestled on the side of golden sands; somewhere to stow away your beach ball and picnic, a place to shelter from the sun, wind or rain. The Pig have clearly read our minds, because this little touch completes our ultimate beach retreat.

Exotic azure shores or rugged British coast, life is definitely better at the beach.
