BEACH: Radhanagar Beach
WHERE: Part of the Andaman Islands, Radhanagar Beach is on Havelock Island, or simply “Beach no. 7” to those in the know. You’ll find Havelock Island way out in the ocean between India and Myanmar.
WHY: Floury white sand – tick. Turquoise water – tick. Lush green jungle – tick. Freshly cooked spicy samosas? Yes please. Retired elephants bathing in a lagoon? Why not. The Andaman Islands are untouched beach bounties. With very little development and an Indian way of life (think fresh fish curry and maniacal tuk tuk drivers – thankfully not together).
