BEACH: Jericoacoara Beach
WHERE: Jericoacoara, Ceara, Brazil
WHY: Not many travellers make it all the way up to “Jeri” beach, which is why it’s one of Brazil’s best kept beach secrets, but here you’ll discover a relatively untrodden, beautiful paradise – nestled right next to the National Park’s gorgeous sand dunes.
HOW: Your best bet is to hop on Empress Fretacar, a public bus service that takes you straight there from the state capital of Fortaleza – which is 300km away.

WHEN: With a rainy season that runs from February until June, for the best experience we suggest visiting this utopia from July onwards.
