IN THE BAG: AMANDA BOALT
Amanda Boalt is the founder and designer of StrongBoalt, a luxury men's swimwear line featuring colourful, whimsical patterns and prints inspired by salt water life in Florida and the Caribbean. Amanda talks to us about what she just can't be beach bound without.
Amanda on her favourite beaches and how she travels
My love is Reef Rd. beach in Palm Beach. The quiet north end of the island is my favourite place to walk and swim with the spinner sharks and sea turtles.
I always pack super light and very last minute, however I'm organised (lots of Ziploc freezer bags. Every product – bathing suit, undergarments and shoes have their own bag). I normally use my giant weekender tote from Hermes for quick get-a-ways, but I seriously want the new waterproof weekender from Louis Vuitton.

Amanda's Fashion Packs
I love Missoni bikinis they're just so vibrant and colourful (5. £264). To cover up I go with a man's button down shirt or cut off shorts (3. Adriano Goldschmied, £174). I'm very low maintenance with shoes, so I normally just pack my Havianas (2. £20) and perhaps some wedges for the evening.
I can't live without a Panama hat (4. Anthony Peto, £110) and gold mirrored Aviators, (6. Ray-ban, £109) – essential for blocking out the sun.
For the evening I generally throw on either a long dress with flip flops or a shirtdress with heels. I really love Matthew Williamson's new resort line ESCPAE for day and night (1. £428). It's perfect to make you feel gorgeous yet relaxed on a getaway.
I draw most of my inspiration from my grandmother, Lilly Pulitzer she is forshore my beach style icon. We have pictures of her in 1970's on Palm Beach and she looks so effortlessly chic.
Amanda's Beach Beauty Musts
Hair: Frederic Fekkai (4) Shea Butter Shampoo, Conditioner and Styling Crème
Body: Tahitian Hei Poa Body Scrub – It's heaven and a must if you are exposing your corps to lots of sunblock and sun. Also Skin Trip Body Lotion, (5) works wonders.
Sunscreen: Jurlique‘s Sun Lotion SPF30, and Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray (1) everywhere else.
Face: Jurlique Clarifying Day Care Lotion, (2)
Make-up: Lucas Papaw Ointment (6) and Mascara
Nails: I always get a Mani Pedi before departure. I wear a bright orange coral color from OPI called “A Good Mandarin is Hard to Find.” (3) Of course, I also love that name!
