TRIED, TESTED: SEMI-PERMANENT LASHES

1. LVL Lashes, starting from £40, lasting 8-12 weeks

Tester: Sophie Hamzah

Ladies, it's time to bid riddance to those ghastly eyelash curlers and welcome LVL's uplift treatment. It may make the most subtle change, but sometimes it's the little changes that make the biggest difference. In a matter of minutes, I went from flat lash gal to wonder-curl superwoman. A perfect pick-me up without the full effects of eyelash extensions.

Score: 5/5

3.Nouveau Lashes, starting from £75, 3- 6 weeks

Tester: Emily Yeoh

I was a bit dubious over having semi-permanent eyelashes stuck on me in case I ended up resembling a drag queen. But I love them, they're absolutely marvellous.  In less than an hour I was transformed. Now my morning preparation is as easy as a man's, I just wash and go.  Bye-bye mascara.

2. Blink + Go, £20- £55, lasting 10-14 days

Tester: Kelly Foster

In just half an hour you receive a set of glamorous new lashes, ideal for a long weekend or short getaway. I was paranoid that my natural lashes would be damaged, but it wasn't a problem. You are slightly restricted with make-up, as you can't put mascara over the top and must be careful removing eye shadow.

Score: 4/5

4. Jinny Lash, £80-£150, lasting 3-5 weeks

Tester: Hollie Parsons

Jinny Lash, how you have changed my life. I can see how this is addictive. Based in an unassuming salon in central London, Jinny Lash gives you naturally long lashes (you select the thickness and length – I went for long and thin giving a more natural finish) meaning that mascara needs be a thing of the past. Just the way nature intended.

Have a look at the new eyelash conditioner just launched. Helps you get longer lashes without the salon treatment
